Prof. Alessandro Golkar focuses on advanced space mission concepts and systems engineering research, supporting new capabilities in pico- and nanosatellites, and enabling the next generation of satellite constellations and distributed satellite system concepts. From 2017 to 2019, Prof. Golkar served as Vice President of Technology Roadmapping and Planning in the department of Airbus CTO in Toulouse, France. He holds a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
