Biography

Alessio Azzutti is a Lecturer in Law Technology (FinTech) at the University of Glasgow. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.Sc. in Finance Risk Management from the University of Florence, an LL.M. in Law and Economics from Utrecht University, and a Doctorate in Law (cum laude) from the University of Hamburg. Prior to his role at Glasgow, Alessio was a Research Associate in the 'Law, Finance, Technology' program at the University of Hamburg (2019-2022) and at the Centre for Banking & Finance Law at the National University of Singapore (2022-2023). His research is focused on integrating insights from law, finance, socio-economics, and information technology to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research approaches. Alessio actively contributes to the Corporate Finance Law Research Group and is involved in various projects that seek to advance regulatory frameworks in the context of FinTech and AI.
