Biography

Associate Professor Urban Economic Development at the Bartlett Development Planning Unit (DPU), UCL, specializes in night-time economies and interdisciplinary research. He is the Joint Course Leader for the MSc Urban Economic Development (UED) program. In 2025, he assumes the role of Director of Training Advisory Services at DPU. His research outputs include peer-reviewed journal articles and policy reports, with a forthcoming contribution to the Routledge Handbook of Night-Time Economies, underscoring his commitment to advancing this growing field of study. Alongside his academic endeavors, he is actively involved in consultancy as the Head of Night-Time Research at the Autonomy Institute and VibeLab, leading high-profile projects that address socio-economic studies and worker-centered policies in cultural strategies across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His work continues to bridge research and practice, addressing the critical challenges of urban economic development and influencing academic thought, policy-making, and public discourse.
