Alex Bing is a lecturer in the College of Arts and Science at the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, an M.A. in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Carleton University. His doctoral research focuses on social theory, race, and science technology studies, specifically examining the lived experiences of first-generation Asian Canadian youth within the educational system.
