Biography

Alex Capri is a Senior Fellow and current Senior Lecturer at the Business School of the National University of Singapore (NUS). He lectures at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and teaches extensively on executive education programs at NUS, in collaboration with globally renowned institutions. With over 20 years of experience in Asia, Alex has been a Partner and Regional Leader at KPMG’s International Trade & Customs Practice for the Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong and Singapore, and has served as Director at PwC’s World Trade Management practice. He has advised clients on large-scale cross-border business projects in more than 50 countries across Asia, the Indo-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. Additionally, he is a research fellow at the Hinrich Foundation in Singapore, where he has authored a series of groundbreaking essays on international trade and technology geopolitics. Alex is a regular panellist, author, and workshop leader for the World Economic Forum (WEF) and writes a column for Forbes magazine. He is frequently featured as a guest on global television and radio networks, including the BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg, and Channel News Asia. Alex holds an M.Sc. in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a B.Sc. in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
