Biography

Alex Chen is an Assistant Professor in the field of Computer Science at the Singapore Institute of Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. His research focuses on user-centered design, health medical technologies, human-computer interaction, and machine learning. Alex has an extensive background in infocomm technology, having also served as a post-doctoral fellow at Carnegie Mellon University. His involvement in various research and leadership initiatives highlights his commitment to enhancing education and technology accessibility, particularly for individuals with special needs.
