Biography

Alex Dickinson is a Professor of Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton. He conducts research focused on the biomechanics and design of prosthetic limbs. He leads a research team dedicated to investigating innovative solutions for prosthetic technology, a role he established after being awarded the prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship from 2015 to 2020.
