Biography

Dr. Alex Fraser is an Associate Professor at Western University in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Clinical Neurological Sciences. He obtained his Bachelor of Science and MD degrees from Dalhousie University, followed by residency training in Neurology at Western University and fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Emory University. His practice at the Ivey Eye Institute is dedicated to Neuro-ophthalmology, where he is involved in clinical training of medical students and residents. His research interests include Eye Movement Disorders, Optic Nerve Disorders, Visual Perception Disorders, Eyelid Pupil Dysfunction, and utilizing Botox for conditions such as blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm.
