Biography

Alex Mills is a Professor of Public Private International Law at University College London. He joined UCL as a Fellow and College Lecturer at Selwyn College and also served as an Affiliated Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge. He holds undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Law, both with class honours, from the University of Sydney, Australia. He practiced as a solicitor in Sydney before completing his LLM (first class) and a PhD in Law at Gonville Caius College, University of Cambridge, where he was awarded the Yorke Prize. In addition to his teaching and research, he is a specialist editor for 'Dicey, Morris & Collins Conflict Laws' and serves as the General Editor of the 'International Comparative Law Quarterly'.
