Biography

Alex Muir completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford in Classics (BA) and French, later transitioning to Biblical Studies. He undertook a two-year ministry apprenticeship and earned an MTh in Biblical Studies from the University of Edinburgh, subsequently obtaining a PhD focused on New Testament and Christian Origins. His doctoral thesis was a comparative project that explored the relationship between the Apostle Paul and Seneca the Younger, analyzing their contributions to the ancient tradition of consolation.
