Biography

Professor Alex Mullen specializes in Ancient History and Sociolinguistics. He is a Fellow at Souls College, University of Oxford and has previously been associated with the University of Nottingham. His academic qualifications include an MA, MPhil, and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Mullen's research focuses on the integration of contemporary sociolinguistics within the ancient world, particularly in relation to epigraphy and archaeology, to write a socio-cultural history.
