Alex Rogers is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Oxford and a Tutorial Fellow. He is also the Co-Director of the Autonomous Intelligent Machines Systems Centre Doctoral Training (AIMS CDT) and a member of the Cyber Physical Systems research group. His research focuses on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to physical sensor systems to address real-world challenges, with an emphasis on sustainability. Currently, he is working on smart building energy management and the development of low-cost conservation technologies. Alex has a consultancy interest in assisting organizations, particularly start-ups, in deploying AI and machine learning solutions for real-world problems.
