Biography

Alexander Georgiou is a Prize Fellow at All Souls College, with broad research interests across the laws of contract, tort, trusts, and unjust enrichment. He is particularly interested in the remedial aspects of private law, the intersection of linguistics and law, and the wider questions of moral and political philosophy in the context of law and civil justice systems. Alexander completed his BA in Jurisprudence at Brasenose College, Oxford, from 2014 to 2017, where he received the Martin Wronker Prize for his performance in the Final Honour School. After his undergraduate studies, he returned to Brasenose to read for the Bachelor of Civil Law in 2018-2019 as a Temple Chambers scholar, and he is currently completing his doctoral research at All Souls College (2020-2024). Additionally, he holds a position as an Academic Fellow at the EW Barker Centre for Law and Business at the National University of Singapore and works as a barrister at Essex Court.
