Biography

Alexander V. Hirsch studies policy making and political institutions using formal theory and quantitative methods. He has published research in several leading journals such as the American Political Science Review, American Economic Review, and Political Analysis. Hirsch received his B.A. from Yale University in 2003 and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2010. Prior to his current role as a Professor at Caltech, he served as an Associate Professor from 2014 to 2016.
