Alexander R. Uhl received his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), Switzerland. His devices currently hold the world record for the highest power conversion efficiency in CuIn(S,Se)2 solar cells using a non-vacuum process. Dr. Uhl has filed patents for solution-processed chalcogenide solar cells, authored a book chapter on perovskite solar cells, and served as a guest editor for the scientific journal Thin Solid Films.
