Biography

He is a professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich (UZH) and holds a senior chair at the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI). He serves as the Chairman of Executive Education at UZH Faculty of Business, Economics, Informatics, and is also Co-Head of the UZH Center for Crisis Competence. Additionally, he has served as a chairman proxy advisor and independent counsel at PwC. His research focuses on corporate finance, sustainable finance, and behavioral economics. Wagner obtained his PhD in Political Economy from Harvard University and completed his studies in economics and law in his hometown of Linz, Austria.
