Biography

Alexandra Carthey is a Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University, specializing in Environmental Management. Her research focuses on invasive species and their impact on trophic interactions, predation, and herbivory. She aims to contribute to the conservation of native species amidst the current biodiversity crisis. Carthey employs novel, collaborative, and cross-disciplinary approaches, showcasing a unique ability to integrate behavioral, chemical, and microbial ecology in her work.
