Biography

Alexandra McKinney is a Lecturer at Harvard Law School, where she teaches Legal Writing and Research. In her role, she also advises students and alumni who are seeking judicial clerkship opportunities through the Office of Career Services. Previously, McKinney served as Assistant General Counsel for Southern New Hampshire University, where she managed compliance, employment, and international matters. After graduating from law school, she clerked for Chief Justice Craig Stowers at the Alaska Supreme Court. Additionally, McKinney has interned at various large and mid-sized law firms and served as an adjunct instructor in the externship program at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where she designed and taught graduate and undergraduate business law courses. McKinney holds a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Stanford University.
