Biography

Alexandre Alahi is an associate professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), leading the Visual Intelligence Transportation laboratory (VITA). Having joined EPFL in 2017, he previously spent several years as a Post-doc Research Scientist at Stanford University. Alahi has co-founded multiple startups and has been named one of the top 20 Swiss Venture Leaders in 2010. His work is widely published and has gained attention from major international news outlets.
