Biography

Alexis Coulourides Kogan, Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Family Medicine and Geriatrics at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). Kogan specializes in mixed-methods health systems research focusing on translation and measurement of person-centered models of care for older adults with serious illness. She earned her BS in Exercise Sports Sciences from Tulane University and her MS and Ph.D. in Gerontology from USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. Kogan is dedicated to enhancing understanding of the experiences and challenges faced by older adults in healthcare settings, with numerous articles published in leading geriatric and public health journals.
