Biography

Alfredo Gutiérrez Ortiz Mena is a Mexican jurist known for his transformative contributions to tax administration, human rights jurisprudence, and environmental justice. He is also recognized for his environmental advocacy and has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for Environmental Justice in the Americas. His work has earned several awards including the Innovation Award from the Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations and recognition from the OECD for rapid tax refunds.
