Biography

Alfredo Torrico is an Assistant Professor in the Daniel J. Epstein Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California. He previously worked as an assistant research professor at the Center for Data Science and Enterprise Society (CDSES) at Cornell University from 2019 to 2022. He completed his postdoctoral research at CERC Data Science in Polytechnique Montréal. Alfredo obtained his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Georgia Tech and holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from Universidad de Chile. His research interests primarily involve the application of operations research methodologies to solve complex engineering and data-driven problems.
