Ali Enayat is a mathematical logician whose research work focuses on model theory, arithmetic set theory, axiomatic theories, and truth. He has held faculty positions in Mathematics Departments at various institutions, including Sharif University in Iran, Western Illinois University, and San Jose State University in the USA. He has also held visiting research positions at IPM in Iran, the Department of Philosophy at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, and the Mittag-Leffler Institute in Sweden. Enayat graduated from Alborz High School in 1976 during the Iranian Revolution and received his B.S. degree in Mathematics from Iowa State University in 1979, and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1984, with a thesis under the direction of Ken Kunen. His extensive publication record includes articles in mathematical logic and related fields.
