Dr. Ali Memari

Biography

Ali Memari is the Bernard Henrietta Hankin Chair and Professor at Penn State University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He serves as the director of the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center (PHRC), focusing on advancements in residential building construction. His research interests encompass building structural systems, structural engineering mechanics, evaluation of building envelope systems, and energy efficiency in residential construction. With a career spanning over two decades, Ali is recognized for his contributions to the development and analysis of innovative construction methods and materials, particularly in the context of 3D printing and sustainable building practices.
