Professor Dr. Alice Levasseur

Biography

Alice Levasseur's research focuses on assessing workplace psychological health indicators and exploring leadership practices that foster motivation and engagement among teaching staff. Her comprehensive study examines variables that contribute to staff retention and well-being at work, considering organizational and relational factors such as workload, autonomy, recognition, and relational trust perceived by staff in educational institutions. She has contributed to the development and promotion of research areas in Canada and internationally, particularly in France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United States, through her involvement in multidisciplinary research projects and participation in prestigious scientific conferences such as the American Educational Research Association (AERA). Alice Levasseur completed her doctoral studies at Université Laval, supported by the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Graduate Fellowship awarded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
