Biography

Alice M. Miller is a Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School and Co-Director of the Global Health Justice Partnership. Her teaching and research focus on gender, sexuality, health, and international human rights. Miller has previously held roles as a Lecturer at Yale School of Public Health and in Global Affairs at the Jackson School of Global Affairs. She earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1985 and her A.B. from Harvard University in 1979. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Miller has contributed to various academic institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she served as Faculty Director of the Women’s Institute for Leadership Development, and Columbia University, where she was Co-Director of the Center for the Study of Human Rights. Her expertise lies in the intersection of public health and human rights, particularly in global health justice issues.
