Biography

Alice C. Parker is an accomplished academic in the field of Electrical Engineering, particularly known for her contributions to design automation, high-level synthesis, and hardware description languages. She received her Ph.D. from North Carolina State University in 1975 and has held esteemed positions such as Professor at the University of Southern California (USC) within the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She continues to engage in significant research initiatives incorporating glial cell interactions into neuromorphic circuits.
