Alice's research interests include contemporary art practices based in rural settings, class-based feminist approaches to art making, participatory socially engaged art practices, and decolonial ecological approaches. She has published widely on North African and Middle Eastern Art and has contributed to international conferences on the subject. Her recent work focuses on the intersections of colonial, feminist, artistic, and ecological themes, particularly in rural contexts.
