Dr. Alice Tsai

Biography

Dr. Alice K. Tsai is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Health specializing in Gynecology. She provides comprehensive and compassionate care to women at all stages of life, approaching patient care holistically by considering the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Dr. Tsai has expertise in managing a wide range of gynecological conditions, including adolescent gynecology and post-menopausal care. She is skilled in performing the Endosee procedure, allowing for a non-surgical internal view of the uterus and minimizing the need for invasive surgical options. As part of the Active Surveillance Program at the Fibroid Center, she focuses on offering tailored non-surgical treatment options for fibroid care. Her extensive experience includes working with diverse and underprivileged populations, providing her with a unique perspective that enhances her empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to care. Her commitment to connecting with patients is influenced by her prior interest in computer science and engineering, which led her to recognize her true calling in medicine. Dr. Tsai completed her medical degree at Northwestern University in 1996 and residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2001.
