Biography

Alice Tseng obtained Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Toronto, and completed a hospital pharmacy residency at Toronto Western Hospital. Tseng has established a specialty practice in HIV ambulatory care, co-founded the Ontario HIV Pharmacists Specialty Group and the Canadian HIV Viral Hepatitis Pharmacists Network. She has authored or co-authored over 85 publications and book chapters and presented more than 65 papers at national and international research conferences. Tseng coordinates the HIV specialty pharmacy residency partnership between McGill University Health Centre and the University of Toronto, and serves on numerous professional, scientific, and governmental committees and boards. She has participated in international HIV/AIDS collaborative strategies and volunteered with community AIDS service initiatives. Previously, she served on the Board of Directors for the AIDS Committee of Toronto. Her research interests include drug interactions, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, and polypharmacy in the aging HIV population. Tseng is a recipient and co-recipient of over a dozen national and provincial pharmacy awards and has been credentialed as an HIV Pharmacist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
