Biography

Alicia Mecklai is a full-time faculty member at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College, specializing in general cardiology with a focus on prevention, women's heart disease, valvular heart disease, and coronary artery disease. She attended Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a Cardiology Fellowship specializing in non-invasive imaging with a focus on echocardiography at New York University Langone Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Mecklai is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
