Alicja Cieslak completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta and a residency in Neurology at the University of British Columbia. In July 2015, she joined the University of Calgary's Neurosciences Department as a fellow in the Cognitive Neurosciences program. During her fellowship, her research interests focused on reviewing therapeutic strategies for Vascular Cognitive Impairment, contributing to the understanding of Mild Behavioural Impairment and how neurodegenerative diseases affect cognition and behavior.
