Alisa Holahan joined Tarlton Law Library as a reference librarian in 2018. She serves as the Head of Collection Development, where she lectures on advanced legal research, including artificial intelligence in the legal field. Holahan is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2015, and during her time in law school, she was a research associate editor for the Texas Law Review. She also holds a Master of Science in Information Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to her current role, she was a Google Public Policy Fellow at the American Library Association’s Office for Information Technology Policy in Washington, D.C., where she focused on information policy issues impacting libraries.
