Biography

Alisa H. Perren is a Professor in the Department of Radio-Television-Film at the Moody College of Communication, University of Texas at Austin. Her research and teaching interests encompass television studies, media industry studies, and the history of film and television. Dr. Perren is also the organizer of the 'Media Industry Conversations', a speaker series that invites industry professionals to discuss the modern media landscape.
