Professor Dr. Alison Braley Rattai

Biography

Alison Braley-Rattai is an Associate Professor at Brock University in the Department of Labour Studies. Her research and teaching expertise focus on labour rights interaction, industrial relations, employment law, and human rights in the workplace. Dr. Braley-Rattai is deeply committed to examining the interplay between labour policies and social justice issues. She holds a PhD from the University of Western Ontario, an LLM from Osgoode Hall, and both an MA and BA (Hons) from York University. Her work contributes significantly to understanding legal frameworks affecting workers' rights and the implications of these frameworks for social equity. Dr. Braley-Rattai actively engages in research that informs both academic and public discourses on labour issues.
