Biography

Alison Leigh Browne is a Professor at the University of Manchester, where she focuses on research related to sustainable development. Her expertise involves addressing UN Sustainable Development Goals established in 2015, especially in poverty alleviation and environmental protection. Alison has held various external positions, including External Examiner for the MSc Sustainability Transitions at the University of Aberdeen and Visiting Professor at the University of Western Australia. She is involved in multiple research beacons and institutions, including the Sustainable Consumption Institute, Manchester China Institute, and Manchester Urban Institute.
