Biography

Alison Cahill, M.D., MSCI, serves as the Associate Dean for Translational Research at Dell Medical School and is a practicing maternal-fetal medicine specialist. She earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Cahill has over 200 peer-reviewed publications in the field of perinatology and has received numerous awards, including the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Research Excellence Award. She also chairs the Committee on Obstetric Clinical Consensus for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and serves as editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology: Global Reports and as senior editor for the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine editions of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
