Biography

Alison Finch is an Honorary Professor of French Literature at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Churchill College. She specializes in post-1800 French literature, having lectured at the Cambridge French Department from 1978 to 2003, and also at the University of Oxford since 2000, where she holds the position of Professor and Chairman of the Sub-Faculty of French.
