Biography

Alison K. Frazier is an Associate Professor Emerita at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1997. Her research focuses on topics such as Machiavelli, trauma, and the humanist contributions to liturgy, as well as hexameral commentary during the Renaissance. She is particularly noted for her work related to editions of Renaissance saints' lives and her census hagiographic collection entitled Sanctuarium, believed to have originated around 1478 in Milan.
