Biography

Alison Gegios, MD, holds an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed a transitional year at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital before pursuing her residency in diagnostic radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Gegios returned to the University of Wisconsin – Madison for her fellowship in Breast Imaging. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Breast Imaging Division, where she contributes to the medical education initiatives at the University of Wisconsin, focusing on innovative research. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Gegios enjoys traveling, gardening, and taking advantage of the many great experiences Wisconsin has to offer.
