Biography

Alison Donahue Kehner is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. She is a partner at DTO Law, a boutique litigation firm founded by trial lawyers from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. Alison leads DTO's New York office, representing corporate and individual clients across a broad range of practice areas, with a focus on complex commercial litigation, government investigations and enforcement, and white-collar criminal defense. Previously, she served as Counsel to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division, leading significant investigations and trials on various matters including complex fraud and cybercrime cases. Alison has also developed strategies for civil and criminal cases, engaged in hiring and administrative matters, and led community engagement initiatives while at the U.S. Attorney's Office. Earlier in her career, she clerked for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Her experience also includes being a litigation associate at Dechert LLP, where she represented clients in employment disputes and conducted internal investigations regarding employee misconduct and compliance violations.
