Biography

Alison is a Clinical Professor of Cancer Nursing and End of Life Care at the University of Southampton and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. Her role combines clinical practice with research, focusing on understanding and responding to the needs of people affected by cancer and life-limiting illnesses. Between 2018 and 2022, Alison was a member of the NIHR College of Senior Investigators and became the Director of NIHR ARC Wessex in October 2019.
