Biography

Alissa M. Kleinnijenhuis is a visiting assistant professor in Finance at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business, also affiliated with the finance department at Imperial College Business School. She is a research associate at the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) at the Oxford Martin School, and a non-resident fellow at Bruegel, an EU think tank specializing in economics. She examines financial incentives for limiting climate risks and financing the transition to a sustainable economy, while emphasizing the integration of public, private, and academic sectors for a green transition. Her expertise includes financial stability, crises, stress testing, and regulation, as well as asset pricing and mathematical finance.
