Biography

Alissa Levy Chung is an Associate Professor at Northwestern University in the Department of Psychology and serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Training. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota, specializing in clinical developmental psychology. Her early research concentrated on the intergenerational transmission of parenting and the impact of early experiences on the development of psychopathology. Over the past few years, her focus has shifted to teaching, where she has gained recognition as an award-winning instructor. She is an active advocate for special education in Evanston public schools.
