Alkım Yalın's research focuses on creator cultures, platform labor, and digital capitalism. His current work explores the platformization of creative labor, particularly in the context of influencer and e-commerce industries in Turkey, using a digital ethnographic approach. He has been awarded the Dissertation Research Grant from the Graduate School and the Anca Romantan International Fieldwork Research Grant from the Department of Communication.
