Biography

Alli Lemon is an artist and curator based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Memphis before moving to Colorado, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She was a 2015 Yale Norfolk Summer Fellow, and her artistic practice spans multiple media, including sculpture, ceramics, collage, drawing, and painting, often exploring themes surrounding the mysteries of sleep. In addition to her role as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, Lemon has been a faculty member at various institutions, including the University of Colorado at Boulder, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, and the University of Pittsburgh. She curated the Union Hall in Denver, creating the artist-run space maybeblue, and was a Distillery Emerging Artist Resident at the Brewhouse Arts in Pittsburgh.
