Biography

Allison joined the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business in 2022 as an Extension Professional for the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact. In this role, she supports the development of programs and collaborations to advance the strategic objectives of the Compact. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Policy from Rutgers University and continues to lecture on sustainable urban planning and sustainability management. Prior to joining the Center, Allison completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University's Earth Institute Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management. Her research focuses on strategic sustainability planning, decarbonization, resiliency, and designing networks for collective impact. During her doctoral studies, Allison worked with the World Bank on renewable energy infrastructure and with the World Health Organization on disaster relief. She holds an M.A. from both New York University and The New School, and a B.A. from the University of Georgia.
