Biography

Allison W. Brindle is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and a Clinician Educator at Brown University. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2001 and subsequently completed her pediatric training at the University of Florida in Gainesville. During her training, she served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor, contributing to the development of the Pediatric Residency Program Curriculum focusing on Child Health Advocacy. Dr. Brindle has practiced General Academic Pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, where she developed a keen interest in Graduate Medical Education, ultimately taking on roles as Associate Residency Program Director and Residency Program Director. Since joining Hasbro Children’s Hospital in 2014, she has worked as a pediatrician in the inpatient Medical Psychiatric Unit. In 2016, she transitioned to Hasbro Primary Care, where she provides care coordination and primary care services for children with complex medical needs. Dr. Brindle is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academic Pediatric Association, highlighting her commitment to advancing pediatric care and education.
