Dr. Allison Carron

Biography

Allison Casey Carron is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, specializing in Dental Hygiene education. She teaches both didactic and clinical courses, focusing on equipping students with the skills necessary for success in the dental hygiene field. Allison holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an active member of both the American Dental Hygienist Association and the Michigan Dental Hygienist Association, reflecting her commitment to the profession. In recognition of her accomplishments, she received the 2022 ADEA/Crest-Oral B Scholarship for dental hygiene students pursuing academic careers, and participated in the Dentsply Sirona/ADHA Graduate Student Research competition at the national ADHA conference in 2022. With a passion for educating future generations of dental hygienists, Allison provides compassionate care to patients and advocates for the advancement of the oral healthcare profession.
