Biography

Allison M. Glenn is a Visiting Critic at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. She is also an Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where she focuses on outdoor sculpture and enhancing the engagement of the museum's 120-acre campus. Glenn has been a pivotal member of the curatorial team for the quinquennial exhibition State Art 2020, which synchronized the opening of Momentary Crystal Bridges. She led the adaptation of 'Hank Willis Thomas: Things Equal…' in 2020 at Crystal Bridges, an initiative that she organized in collaboration with the Portland Art Museum. Before her current position, Glenn served as the Manager of Publications and Curatorial Associate for Prospect New Orleans’ international art triennial, Prospect.4: Lotus Spite Swamp. Her writing has been included in exhibition publications from prestigious institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, and Rebuild Foundation. She has also contributed articles to art publications including Hyperallergic, ART21 Magazine, and ART PAPERS.
